Knuffle bunny storybook and toy

knuffle-bunny-storybook-and-toy.jpg

If you have kids you know how much they like bed stories (well, even if you don’t have kids, I bet you know they like bed stories). And they usually have that favorite one that they make you read every single night. Night after night and after night. And you do, because that’s the only the way to make them go to sleep so you can finally rest, too. And I bet you’ve done quite some acting during that reading. That’s good for those of you with some acting skills, I guess. But it can be a little bit tiring for those of you, who don’t, right? Well, this thing can get you off the scene for a while, if you want it to of course. The Knuffle Bunny toy is the main character in the story of Mo Willems. The story is all about that same bunny and how it gets lost at the neighborhood laundromat causing the family of baby Trixie (its owner) to go on a frantic bunny-hunt. The book has the potential to become one of your kids’ favorite books, especially when it’s accompanied with the main character. And with the bunny already in your hands you can be sure that your kids won’t demand you to substitute for it. Breathing more easily now?

Ladies laptop bags

ladies-laptop-bags.jpg

Yes, we’ve shown you some others laptop bags and they were all cute and practical, just like those are, but the difference is from here to the moon and back. “Cute” is a definition that can be used in cases that differ very much from each other. Just what the case is here. If the previous laptop bags (holders, whatever) were more of a childish ones or teenage if you like, those must be definitely considered “grown up”. Just imagine how you’re showing up for your first day of work with a fluffy animal like laptop holder - cute, but absolutely not appropriate. And yes, getting that boring typical black bag will do the work, but why should you, when you can get one of those. They come in three styles, a black faux crocodile, pink quilted faux suede, and a modern canvas stripe, and are absolutely comfortable with their requisite padding and straps in the inside to hold your laptop secure. In addition, there’s a little bag for your cords / adapters / whatever, plus an interior pocket for paperwork that includes a cubbyhole for pens, cell phone, and a zippered compartment. And as if it didn’t already have enough storage, there’s also a pocket on the outside for that thing you thought about the last minute. The more I write, the more those seem better than a hand bag, don’t you think? And if this wasn’t enough to convince you, just think about how good they’ll match that favorite outfit of yours.

Pet feeders

pet-feeders.jpg

Continuing with the pet goodies. We went through the bed and since we all know what the main activities of our sweeties are (sleeping, eating and occasionally playing) it is only normal that we move to the feeding bowls. If you want to be creative and unique even when it comes to your pet possessions this is exactly for you. Those pet feeders are again hand made (just like the bed) from 2 stainless steel bowls and nothing more than salvaged and recycled car, machinery and bicycle parts. I don’t know if your pets are gonna be charmed by their bowls since they don’t seem to care too much what they’re getting their food from, as long as the food is there, but I’m sure your friend’s will be. They’re probably envy not only you but your pets, too. After all, those look more like an art sculptures, than pet feeders.

Doggy bed

dog-bed.jpg

I know this is not the first doggy bed you’re seeing, it’s not mine either, but it’s one of the cutest and interesting I’ve seen lately.  It is also one of the strangest shapes I’ve seen. You know the doggy beds are usually just like ordinary ones – flat, sometimes rounded. This one is a lot different. It is cave shaped and I bet it feels more comfortable then those normal ones. But that’s not the only cool thing in this bed. It is hand made from soft breathable material that is 100% hypoallergenic, washable and regulates temperature so your pet is always comfortable. It also comes in sizes, so it’s up to you to decide which one fits your favorite companion best. The small bed is approximately 24″, the medium is 32″, and the large is 50″ in diameter. It also comes in different shades such as brown/canal blue, orange/shifting sand and black/chili pepper red. Well, if your pet does not have a special place to sleep yet, think about getting him/her a present for Christmas. Isn’t that just the perfect one?

Penguin lamp

Here’s another thing that is most likely to grab both yours and your kids attention – the penguin lamp. It’s gonna be a great gift for your kids for the upcoming holidays – it’s both practical and very nice looking and they’re gonna be totally in love with it. And I bet you’ll love it, too if anyone decides to give it to you as a present. You can use it as a desktop light or as a reading light, both ways what you get is a very sleek designed gadget that’s gonna revive the atmosphere in your home or office and brings up a smile on people’s faces when they see it. You can chose from two designs – black and white one or black and blue one. My personal favorite is the original penguin colors - black and white, but different people different opinions – just choose the one that suits you best.

Cat or dog optic mouse

You know how kids are. They want to have an interesting life – to wear the most interesting clothes, to have the most interesting things (even though the line between interesting and ridiculous it very, very thin one). If you’re lucky they’ll outgrow this period very quickly, but till then you just have to clench your teeth and accept (very often even participate) in their ideas no matter how crazy they are. Well, some of you may find this gadget useless and crazy (especially when there is the normal computer mouse that does not attract everyone’s attention), but kids love it, and you just have to be glad it’s cute and innocent looking and not some black ugly bat imitation for instance. And come on…you have to admit that the things are so cute that if you were not trying to build up the grown up image in front of your child you wouldn’t mind getting one for yourself, too.

The portable light switch

portable-light-switch.jpg

And here’s something lights and we can’t go without – the light switch. The thing here’s that normal light switches are fixed to the walls and this one is portable. And if you ask why would anyone want to have something like that, guess you’re just not one of those lazy people who even hate the idea of getting up to turn the lights off when they’re falling asleep for instance. But come on…deny that there wasn’t a moment like that in your life. You’re just in the edge of falling asleep after a long, long day and the only thing that’s bugging you is that light that’s turn on…you have to get up…get there and turn it off…blah. Well, no more. See what this thingy can do:
“The wireless switch can control any light fixture you choose, and you can set it anywhere in your house. Simply attach the remote component to your light fixture, open the On/Off box and flip the switch - that light on the other end of the room instantly turns on or off! The switch works up to 100 feet away and comes encased in an elegant Lucite box with a magnetic lid.”
Is it just me or the people are getting proportionally creative to their laziness? Good for us.

Wireless over bed dual LED light

wireless-over-bed-dual-led-light.jpg

Here’s another light idea as I’m obviously in that mood. This time we’re talking about normal light color, but also about sort of abnormal lights. It’s nothing more than an idea for a reading light except it is wireless and greatly designed. See what creators have to say about it:
“This cordless over-the-bed dual lamp offers individual, dimmable light to either person in bed, so one can read without disturbing the other. Each lamp slides along a 36″ track and adjusts side-to-side, while each lamp head swivels to shine right where the light is needed. Additionally, there are no cords and wires like other over-the-bed lighting. Each lamp slides along the track, adjusts from side to side and swivels to shine light where it is needed. Each LED lamp also has its own on/off switch and is dimmable. These attributes make this lamp perfect to avoid disturbing your partner sleeping right next to you while you read or work.”
It’s the perfect solution when you just want to sleep and your sweet, kind, loving partner demands on finishing that thick book of his/hers. No more covers over your head or sleeping masks – just get him/her and mostly yourself this light. Works even better than a sleeping pill, trust me.

Color changing light bulb

color-changing-lightbulb.jpg

If you’re tired from the yellow or white bright light emitted from your normal light bulbs I have a solution for you. It sounds kinda unreal, but it isn’t. It is for real a light bulb (an absolutely regular one that fits in every regular light bulb socket) that you can change the color on. And it’s not a color or two – it goes with a remote control and if I can count correctly there are 15 colors you can take advantage of (count them one more time if you don’t trust me). But that’s not all - the bulb also offers various transition effects (flash, strobe, fade and smooth) and you can adjust the brightness level (not something you normally can do with LED bulbs). Sounds like a light show to me, don’t you think. Well, you have to admit that when you first hear about it, it sounds kinda useless, but when you think about it - sometimes the atmosphere you’re creating can be the only key to your success.

Kidz-Med Thermofocus

kidz-med-thermofocus.jpg

Nobody likes to be sick, but it happens anyway. And we take precautions anytime it happens. And it’s easy with us adults to define if it’s something serious or not, but how do we define it for our kids. The most common way is by measuring the temperature – but anyone who has tried it knows how difficult it is to measure a kid’s temperature. They just can’t stand the thermometer, always take it out and cry constantly while you struggle to find out the numbers. Here’s a gadgets that’s destined to put an end to that struggle – the Kidz-Med Thermofocus. It uses infrared technology to measure the temperature and involves no contact with any flesh in order to work. All you have to do is point it at the forehead, armpit, or navel. No more screams and no more struggles. This little thing makes measuring temperature as fast and easy as it can be. One battle won, still the one with the temperature remains.
