See, when it comes to fashion I’m so into those crazy, wacky, different stuff. I have no idea why, I just think they are cool. But unfortunately lately the fashion is changing in a way that looks back in the past. And the past as you know consists of basically practical, practical and more practical boring stuff…so whenever I find something “out of the box” I’m already in love with it. Like this bag here. There’s nothing practical and boring about it and I’m ecstatic about it. So basically it’s just a simple bag (simplicity rules), except its appearance. It looks as though your stuff has gone through the security check at the airport. And if that’s not wacky enough for you, check the stuff you’re supposed to be caring…I personally laughed like crazy. The bag is made of woven plastic fiber, so that makes it durable and waterproof, which means it’s not just some cool but useless stuff. Which on the other hand means that my “nothing practical about it” statement is completely wrong…well at least it’s not boring…and that’s what matter most, isn’t it.

This has got to be the coolest watch I’ve ever seen. Yes it is a watch and this is tiny little Earth in there. And guess what else…the Earth actually makes a full rotation for 24 hours just like the real one. Now, top that if you can. And if you’re wondering who have thought of making something like that…it’s the Japanese of course, who else. The whole thing is designed in Japan and made by Seiko Instruments. But it’s a watch after all so if you only see the little Earth in there and no indicators for the hour and minutes it’s because there aren’t any…the designers played it smart and didn’t ruin the whole idea with some ugly hands, but put a small time zone indicator for the hour and a small orange dot to indicate the minutes. The watch is powered by a 10 year Lithium battery (can you count how many rotation the small Earth has to make until it stops?). And if you worry that somehow you’ll break the thing, don’t be. Now besides ridiculously funny this thing can be pretty handy too. Not only if you are in college and your roommates keep complaining that none of the available air fresheners can fairly compete with the toxic smell of your clothes but also if you’re a mom of lets say one to three teenage boys that keep leaving smelly socks everywhere around the house. You just buy one of those (or more …depending on the number of kids) and half the battle with the smell is won…the other half is to actually make them use the bin. It can make a fun present too…just make sure you don’t offend someone. Like I’m pretty sure that if you give this one as a present to your dad with the words “you know, now that you have one of those here we may actually visit you more often” he’s not gonna be very happy about it. So be careful but also be smart and even if you can still bear the smell of your kid’s socks prepare yourself for the future by buying the toxic bin.

It was a long, long time ago when money-boxes were boring. Nowadays you can see so many different kinds that they’re gonna make your head spin.
