I know you’re probably sick of all the iPod and other easy to scratch gadgets’ covers, but you have to admit that they are a necessity if we don’t want our pricy toys to get covered with scratches. I can even bet that you have one yourself. The one thing that bugs me the most in all those protection cases is that they are pretty uncomfortable. They not only make the phone/iPod/whatever look bulky, but most of the times are also way too ugly. I mean what’s the use of getting that sexy sleek phone if you’re gonna stuff it in one of those ugly looking cases. The solution comes with this invisible shield. It is nothing but a piece of thin glorified cellophane tape that’s tough enough to protect you phone/iPod/iPhone/anything else you can think of form any sort of scratches and nicks. I don’t just mention the iPhone…the Invisible Shield works great for those touch screen devices. So no more bulky, ugly looking cases – all you need is the Invisible Shield and you have your gadget in its natural glory.

Many things have been said about the new iPod touch and I’m not planning on rushing into discussions whether it’s good or not. Whoever likes the thing and has it knows how much it needs to be protected from scratches and knocks. So that’s exactly what we’re gonna be talking about this time. But how do you protect a touch screen? That’s what iSkin are answering with their new iSkin for the iPod touch. iSkin touch is constructed from premium high-grade silicone and smooth lines. The thing is made very elegantly and aims to encapsulate the iPod touch nicely without adding any unnecessary bulk or weight. With it the iPod touch’s home and power buttons are adequately protected with the iSkin touch and for the tricky part – the touch screen - it uses a touch-friendly screen film that does not require adhesives, bringing anti-glare and anti-fingerprint properties to the table without obstructing your view. The iSkin comes in 5 two-tone designs to choose from - Nighthawk (espresso/black), Diablo (red/black), Oxygen (black/clear), Electra (black/blue) and Vanity (black/pink). Protection is a must with the touch screen and iSkin sounds pretty good to me.

Now you can play music under the shower and at the seaside with this new iPod Gadget – the Waterproof iPod Speakers. They have 3W of power and can even float on watery surfaces. The case is specially designed so that it can hold your iPod and play music while you chill or swim. It’s shatterproof and has a rubber membrane so you can control your iPod without getting water/sand or any other harmful substance on it. Priced around $100 they are a bit expensive but then again you can listen to music while swimming … you don’t get that every day.

Now you can watch movies in the comfort of your … well head. This ingenious piece of glassware will play movies from almost any source (iPod, portable DVD etc) and you’ll feel like you are watching the videos on a 50″ screen from a distance of 8.5ft (yes it replicates the effect). This should make the 8 hour long flights with boring movies being played a bit more enjoyable. Its power supply will last for 8 hours and it comes with a USB charger – just plug it in your PC/laptop and you’re all set. Just don’t use iTheater while driving!

You don’t have an iPod (whaaat?) but you still want to emit radio frequency. Well there are 2 ways – either cover yourself with radioactive materials (not tested and probably not a good idea) or use the iTrip Auto Universal – it will emit from anything with a headphone socket so you can listen to the tunes on your car stereo. A great gadget for all the iPod haters out there.

The iPod has evolved once more. Now you can record on your iPod using this clever gadget – the iTalkPro – simply plug it in your favorite iPod (come on I know you have more than one) and click the nice red button. But that’s not all – you can record from almost all your devices – CD, radio or anything that has a headphone socket.

This is one of the few gadgets that you’ll need if you plan to go on a long road or get stuck in traffic. Plug this iPod power jolt into the lighter et voila – you have power. Your iPod can run while charging so you don’t have to listen to that titanic song on the radio (you know which one I have in mind).

Now you can listen to your Ipod tunes in your car and home on your stereo. Just plug in the iTrip dock and it will emit on a given frequency (yes you can set the frequency) so when you are in a crowded city with lots of stations yon can just change it. Say good bye to the conventional CDs and Stereo Cassettes and throw that cassette adaptor away. The iTrip dock will do just fine in their place.
