Didn’t we talk about monster recently? Even if we did I know you’re craving for more, you monster lovers. So here’s the latest and greatest in the monster goodies – the monster laptop sleeve. We all know how boring laptop sleeves can be - dull, plain, colorless. Well, if you’re tired of those as much as I am, this can be the solution. The monster laptop sleeve is made of sturdy foam padding encased with whimsical fur fabric. It also features pointy monster teeth and googley felt eyes that are both fearsome and adorable at the same time. The cutie fits almost every laptop size:
- Apple 15″ MacBook Pro
- Apple 17″ MacBook Pro
- Apple 13″ MacBook
- Apple 12″ iBook or PowerBook
- IBM ThinkPad T43 (14.1″)
- Sony Vaio VGN-C2Z
- Fujitsu T4000 Tablet
Still if your laptop differs form those ones and you’re absolutely fascinated by the monster sleeve don’t despair. You can actually build your own custom sized sleeve at the same price as the factory ones. Colors are also available, if you’re not a big fan of the green – you can get the monster sleeve also in blue, pink, white, orange, and purple. So that’s about it. Monsters really are everywhere nowadays…or even if they aren’t we’re gonna make them be, right monster lovers?

So, you thought all those portable keyboards were cool, didn’t you? Yup, I did too. I mean it was new development, kinda geeky, but still so extra cool. Well, we live in a time where cool can be topped very easy - with something even cooler, of course. Like this one here. What you’re looking at is the Bluetooth laser virtual keyboard. The tiny device projects a keyboard on any flat surface you can think of. What’s left is just for you to start typing e-mails or whatever on your Bluetooth enabled PDA or Cell Phone. And to make things even more real, when you type, you’ll be accompanied by simulated key click sounds. Now some very pessimistically disposed person will say that the whole idea sucks, cause, see, what would happen for instance if a fly lands on your keyboard while you type on it (you know who you are). Well, what is gonna happen is that you probably will have to use the “backspace” key after you chase the fly away. And if it’s a very persistent fly that likes your keyboard very much you’ll probably have to use the key more than once (poor you). Anyway I think it’s pretty cool gadget…and practical for all that matters. And after all, you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

This is got to be the weirdest and coolest keyboard I have ever seen. It looks unearthly good…and totally geeky. And since geek stuff are such a hit lately, this automatically sends this keyboard in my “what to buy me for Christmas” list. Quote: “Flexible Illuminated Full Sized Keyboard is strong, silent and indestructible. It is made of a high quality silicone material. Flexible keyboard is storable and portable so that users can bring it everywhere. The illuminated design makes it more cyber and useful, you can use it in a low-light environment. Its ultra-slim and lightweight design can be used for travel, school, or any other working environment. And, it is water resistant and dustproof that users can clean it easily. Its flat design also offers an easy typing that prevent your wrists getting stress.” See, you should get (or demand as a present as I usually do) one of those not only cause it look the way it looks, but also because it’s practical…if you ask me there are definitely not enough nice looking practical stuff out there, so when you find one make sure you get it.

Ok remember the mug warmer…and what about if you don’t drink coffee or other warm stuff…I for sure don’t want you to feel neglected…so after some search let me present you the almost complete opposite to the mug warmer – the can cooler and warmer (although I have no idea why someone will want their sodas warm) anyway do I really have to tell you what is the purpose of this thing…it’s so obvious. You just plug it in the PC put the can in it and let the thing do its job…which is keeping your soda from turning into a flat watery liquid. So as I said I don’t know why the thing has also a warming function but I guess if you find a cup with similar to the can shape and size and fill it with coffee it will do the job. So this thing can cool your can below 18 to 20 degrees of the ambient temperature, while heating a drink up to 65 degrees more thanks to the set point thermostat. Pretty good for a USB device don’t you think? And what I find as another good feature is the shape of this product…it actually surrounds the liquid holder making spilling a much harder work to do which with the most people I know is really awesome thing.

Ok I found another USB gadget for you that is actually pretty handy. And it’s definitely not stupid as the humping dog…it’s an USB mug warmer. After all we’re all sick of all those cups of coffee sitting next to the PC…and I say cups because we all know that once the coffee gets cold the most simple way to replace it is just go and get a new cup…so they pile and pile up…well no more. Simply plug the mug warmer in the USB and the coffee is nice and warm all the time. so I know that all of you are brainiacs but still I’ll give you some advises…first “mug” is something made of material that doesn’t melt in touch with warm surfaces so please don’t use plastic cups (imagine what’s gonna happen yourself), second be very careful with the coffee as it is a liquid and tends to spill and do damages, third…the surface of the warmer will be warm (hot at some point) so be careful touching it…and I can go on and on but I suppose there’s some kind of a manual so I’ll leave the other warnings to the manufacturer. Overall I think the mug warmer is something very handy if you’re a coffee lover (well, I bet it’s gonna work with a cup of tea too) and since there are USB ports on your PC, after all, why not use it for something that’s actually gonna make your day (especially if you’re one of those people that get really cranky if they haven’t taken their dose of coffee in the morning)

Imagine lying on the beach somewhere on the Bahamas with a gorgeous massage girl and perhaps a coconut drink … Well this gadget doesn’t even come close but it will definitely help you relax when you worked all day on the computer. It comes with an ultra long 1.8m USB cable so that you can reach places that you wouldn’t normally reach (I don’t want to know – keep them to yourselves). Anyways it is a great tool to relax the aching old age muscles after or during work and is relatively cheap: around $18.
